LAS VEGAS (CelebrityAccess) — The inaugural edition of the Metarama Gaming + Music Festival has been abruptly cancelled with just over a month before its scheduled debut.

The festival, which was set to take place October 19th and 20th in Las Vegas, featured a bill that included headliners Marshmello, Logic, Snoop Dogg, Grouplove, and Lil Yachty as well as gaming influencers such as Ninja, Sodapoppin, and others

The cancellation was first reported by ESPN, who noted that the festival’s social media presence went dark, shortly before event organizers posted a notice on the festival’s website announcing the event would not take place.

Organizers did not provide a reason for the cancellation but promised full refunds.

“Despite incredible support and feedback surrounding this first-of-its-kind festival concept and extensive preparation to deliver an unbelievable fan experience, we regret to announce that Metarama Gaming + Music Festival has been cancelled.

100% of your purchase will be refunded to the original payment source on, or before, September 6th. Look for “FGT*METARAMA” on your bank statement. Please allow 7 – 10 days for the funds to be returned to the account.”

The festival was produced by C3 Presents, the team behind Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits Music Festival, in partnership with Scott London and Seth Schorr of Esports Hospitality Concepts.
