MIAMI (CelebrityAccess) — Florida rapper Kodak Black pleaded guilty Thursday to federal firearms charges following his arrest ahead of the Rolling Loud festival in Maimi in May.
According to CBS News, he faced charges that included g falsifying information on federal forms to buy four firearms from Florida gun stores on at least two separate occasions.
Black, who is 22, was alleged to have obtained a 9mm handgun, a .380-caliber handgun and a semi-automatic Mini Draco, a semi-automatic pistol modeled on the AK-47 military rifle.
Authorities reported finding one of the weapons at the scene of a shooting in Pompano Beach in March, CBS News reported.
Black has been in federal custody since his arrest in May and he is still under investigation in connection with three other shootings in the Miami area.
If convicted, he could face up to 20 years in prison and also faced charges drug, weapons, and sexual assault charges in other states.
Kodak, who was raised in Pompano Beach, is noted for his singles “Zeze”, “Roll in Peace”, “Tunnel Vision”, and “No Flockin” with his most recent mixtape, 2018’s “Heart Break Kodak” peaking at #1 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
