LONDON (CelebrityAccess) – In the wake of their return to the No. 1 slot on the Official UK Albums Chart with their critically acclaimed sixth studio album, We Are Not Your Kind, Slipknot have today (Aug. 22) announced their UK & Irish tour dates for early 2020.
The tour, which is scheduled to kick off on January 16th in Manchester, will make stops in Glasgow, Cardiff and Birmingham among other cities before wrapping up on January 25th at London’s O2 Arena.
We Are Not Your Kind, which features the tracks “Solway Firth,” “Birth Of The Cruel,” and the LP’s lead single “Unsainted,” also debuted at No. 1 in the US, Australia, Canada, Japan, Ireland, Belgium and Finland, as well as in the Top 3 in Germany, France, Norway, Italy, The Netherlands and New Zealand.
Slipknot’s Knotfest Roadshow headline US tour is currently underway featuring special guests Volbeat, Gojira, and Behemoth on all dates. That tour is scheduled to conclude September 8th at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands, TX.
