WASHINGTON D.C. (CelebrityAccess) — Ralph Anwan Glover, an actor and founding member of the Washington D.C.-based go-go group BackYard Band, has reportedly been arrested on weapons charges.
According to TMZ, Glover was arrested on June 26th after responding to a report of a driver in a white Jeep displaying a firearm and driving erratically.
After police pulled over a vehicle that matched the description of the white jeep, they allege they found a loaded firearm in the vehicle. Court documents revealed that Glover does not have a license to carry a gun in the District of Columbia.
An attorney for Glover told Fox News that his client was not aware of the gun in the vehicle.
Glover is best known for his role as Slim Charles in the critically acclaimed HBO drama “The Wire” as well as “Treme” and “The Deuce”, which were also David Simon-produced shows.
Glover’s film credits include “Twelve Years A Slave” (2013) and “Prospect” (2018).
