BROOKLYN, NY (CelebrityAccess) – Public relations firm Shore Fire Media announced the promotion of James Rainis to Senior Account Executive.
“James is an exemplary publicist and manager who approaches every campaign with vision, sensitivity, and nuance,” Shore Fire Senior Vice President Matt Hanks says. “His skills as a storyteller are matched only by the depth of his musical knowledge.”
While at Shorefire, where he most recently served as an account exec, Rainis has played a role in media campaigns for clients that include Bon Iver, Nakhane, Raphael Saadiq, Neko Case, Mt. Joy, and the Brooklyn Museum’s ‘David Bowie is’ exhibit, among others.
A native of Brightwaters, NY, Rainis attended Cornell University, where he received a communications degree.
“For the past five years, our president and founder Marilyn Laverty, Matt Hanks, and the rest of the Shore Fire team have taught me so much, allowing me to grow as a publicist and represent some incredible artists,” Rainis said in a press statement announcing the promotion. “I’m supremely grateful for their support and mentorship, and I look forward to what’s next.”
