LONDON (CelebrityAccess) – Featured Artists Coalition (FAC) CEO Lucie Caswell has been announced as the new general manager and chief policy officer of the Music Publishers Association (MPA).
The move, which follows the departure of both MPA CEO Jane Dyball and the arrival of new chair Roberto Neri, will take place this fall.
“I am delighted to confirm that our MPA team will be further strengthened in less than three months’ time, when Lucie Caswell, the FAC’s current CEO joins us as MPA general manager & chief policy officer,” said MPA CEO Paul Clements. “We look forward to welcoming Lucie, who will help us to springboard from the platform that Jackie [Alway], Jane [Dyball] and Lorna [Greenwood] have left us.”
During her two-year tenure with the FAC, Caswell worked to defend artists’ rights in the streaming era and campaigned for the Copyright Directive.
The trade body has yet to announce a new CEO to replace her.
