(CelebrityAccess) — A member of Glastonbury’s security team has been found dead on the festival site.
According to The Guardian, the man, who was in his 60s, was found dead in his tent at 5pm on Sunday.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset police said that the death did not appear to be suspicious. “Officers attended and are satisfied the man’s death is not suspicious. The coroner has been informed,” the spokesperson said.
The man reportedly worked at the festival over the weekend but had not worked in the 24 hours prior to the discovery of his body. He was employed by G4S, which provided 24 on-site security guards for the festival’s team.
“The next of kin have been informed and our thoughts are with his loved ones at this difficult time,” a spokesman for G4S told The Guardian.
