“I’ve been very lucky to receive recognition for my achievements throughout my career but this is very special. To be selected as “The Artist’s Artist” by some of my favorite artists is truly special. To receive that recognition from a panel as diverse as Annie Lennox, Nick Mason from Pink Floyd, Ed O’ Brien from Radiohead, Sandie Shaw and Dave Rowntree from Blur and so many others is very, very meaningful to me and will make for a special night in my life at the Artist & Managers Awards”
Nile’s work in the CHIC Organization and his productions for artists like David Bowie, Diana Ross, and Madonna have sold over 500 million albums and 75 million singles worldwide while his collaborations with Daft Punk, Avicii, Sigala, Disclosure, and Sam Smith played an outsized role in contemporary music.
Nile Rodgers & CHIC most recently released their first new studio album, “It’s About Time” in over 26 years to critical acclaim and a Top 10 position in the UK album charts.
