JERUSALEM (CelebrityAccess) Bhad Bhabie’s concert in Jordan next month has been canceled because of a social media post where the performer appeared to support Israel.
The 16-year-old, initially known for saying “Cash me outside” on the Dr. Phil show, hasn’t taken a stance on or pledged allegiance to either side of the Israeli-Palestinian dispute, according to TMZ. The rapper, real name Danielle Bergoli, was scheduled to perform in the capital city of Amman July 8 before traveling to Israel for another concert the next day in Tel Aviv. BDS Jordan called for canceling Bergoli’s visit because of a tweet from last year that showed Bhad Bhabie at an event hosted by Creative Community for Peace, which included artists who oppose the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement against Israel.
Then, last week, a “prominent Palestinian marathon runner” tweeted in Arabic that Jordanians should boycott Bergoli, to which she replied, “Why yes, I do like McDonald’s fries. They be tasting good as f*** sometimes. I appreciate you asking bi***. Much love.”
That apparently was the tipping point for Jordan promoters, who canceled the concert. She is still scheduled to play Tel Aviv.
