LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) – Taylor Swift’s seventh studio album Lover isn’t even out yet but it’s already broken the record for most pre-added albums (read: pre-saves or pre-orders) on a single day by a female artist on Apple Music.
Clocking a whopping 178,600 pre-adds worldwide in its first day of availability (June 13) – that number has reportedly since exceeded 222,400 – Swift has set a new benchmark, dethroning Ariana Grande’s Thank U, Next in the process.
Lover is due out August 23 and will feature the previously released tracks “Me!” featuring Brendon Urie of Panic at The Disco! and “You Need to Calm Down.”
