LONDON (CelebrityAccess) – BTS have made history again, this time becoming the first South Korean group to headline Wembley Stadium.
The boy band performed for upwards of 120,000 screaming fans over the course of two sold-out nights at the venue this past weekend, blowing through their 24 song setlist and even paying tribute to Queen frontman and musical icon Freddie Mercury.
The pair of shows capped off an extremely successful year for the band, who did 2.6 million in pre-sales on their most recent album, Map Of The Soul: Persona, which topped the UK album charts upon its release back in April, played Saturday Night Live, the Billboard Music Awards and Britain’s Got Talent, and scored their biggest hit single to date when “Boy With Luv” entered the UK Top 20.
