LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) – The Beach Boys have signed with WME in all areas, worldwide.
Although the group is now led exclusively by Mike Love and no longer includes any of its other founding members –– songwriter, co-lead vocalist and former band leader Brian Wilson and founding member Al Jardine tour on their own, while brothers Carl and Dennis Wilson are both deceased –– the current incarnation of the Beach Boys still plays about 150 shows a year.
As one of the most famous pop bands of all time with more than 100 million records sold, the group reunited in 2012 for a 50th-anniversary reunion tour that saw them complete more than 70 concert dates worldwide.
The Beach Boys were awarded The Recording Academy’s Lifetime Achievement Grammy Award and inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988.
