LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) Mick Jagger recently posted an Instagram video showing him working out his dance moves at a studio, with the strong indication it is a sign the that the Rolling Stones are preparing to announce rescheduled dates for the band’s North American tour.
The Stones had to suspend their tour, which was to begin at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami April 20, because the frontman had to undergo a heart procedure.
“Mick Jagger has been advised by doctors that he cannot go on tour at this time as he needs medical treatment,” the band’s publicist said in a statement. “The doctors have advised Mick that he is expected to make a complete recovery so that he can get back on stage as soon as possible.”
“I hate letting our fans down and I’m hugely disappointed to have to postpone the tour but am looking forward to getting back on stage as soon as I can,” Jagger said in a statement.
The 17-date tour included shows at Houston’s NRG Stadium, Pasadena’s Rose Bowl, Seattle’s Centurylink Field, and Denver’s Mile High Stadium. The band was scheduled to headline the New Orleans Jazz Festival May 2, a slot that was filled briefly by Fleetwood Mac, which withdrew because of Stevie Nicks having an illness.
