NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Singer-songwriter James Bay appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to perform an emotional rendition of his new single “Bad.”
The performance featured a Bay performing the moody song on his guitar alone on a gloomily lit stage, amid an array of stark spotlights.
“Bad” is a new single from Bay’s most recent EP “Oh My Messy Mind” which he released without prior warning to his fans late last week. The EP contains “Peer Pressure,” Bay’s hit collaboration with Julia Michaels, Rescue and Bad.
The EP is Bay’s first since 2015 and his first new material since his 2018 LP Electric Light.
Bay is currently gearing up for an extensive tour of the UK and Europe, which is set to kick this month with a gig at the Palladium in London on May 22nd.
