(CelebrityAccess) – Taylor Swift has officially become the solo and female artist with the biggest 24-hour debut on YouTube to-date, following the release of her new video for “ME!” featuring Panic! at the Disco’s Brendon Urie.
According to a statement released by YouTube Saturday (April 27), Swift’s “ME!” video clocked a record-breaking 65.2 million views within the first 24 hours of its release on April 25.
The debut sees Swift beating out Ariana Grande’s previous 24-hour record of over 55 million views for “Thank U, Next,” however, K-pop group BTS still maintains the overall biggest YouTube 24-hour view record, with “Boy With Luv” featuring Halsey, which clocked more than 74 million views during that period.
The “ME!” video also marks a personal 24-hour best for Swift as her “Look What You Made Me Do” video racked up 43.2 million views during its first 24-hours.
