VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (CelebrityAccess) The first day of the Something In The Water festival in Virginia Beach, Va., was literally a wash as heavy rainfall canceled concerts, including the Dave Matthews Band, at the Virginia Beach Amphitheatre Friday night.
The band apologized for the cancellation in a Facebook post, and organizers said they are refunding 33 percent of the base price for those who purchased tickets from the festival website.
Patrons waited for a ride to the festival site around 5 p.m. and were told by city manager Dave Hansen that the performances would not begin until 8 p.m. because of tornado warnings, only to have the night canceled.

Today’s schedule is expected to be unaffected, with tonight’s headliners Travis Scott, Sza and Pharrell & Friends (including, possibly, Jay-Z).
