ATLANTA (CelebrityAccess) — Rapper Waka Flocka Flame was at a recording session in Atlanta when gunmen opened fire on the studio.
According to a police report by WSB-TV, Waka was one of about a dozen people present in ZAC Recording Studio in the early morning hours on April 4th when the shooting started.
Waka, whose real name is Jauquin Malphurs, escaped injury in the fusillade.
Police told WSB-TV that when officers arrived at the studio, witnesses told them at least three men fired several shots into the building and the police report indicated one man had been shot in the arm.
According to WSB-TV, Police have not said if they believe Waka was the intended target and a spokesman for the studio declined to comment on the incident.
