NEW ORLEANS (CelebrityAccess) — Well that was fast. Just days after they were announced as a replacement for the Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac has canceled their upcoming headlining performance at the 50th annual New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.

Fleetwood Mac was scheduled to perform on May 2nd on the festival’s marquee Acura Stage but on Monday, they announced they were canceling due to Stevie Nicks’ ongoing battle with the flu. The slot was quickly filled by Georgia-based jam band Widespread Panic.

The news came just four days after they were announced as a replacement for the Stones, who also canceled due to health issues.

The Jazz Fest show is one of a string of performances canceled or postponed by Fleetwood Mac. On Friday, Fleetwood Mac pulled out of a performance in Boston and reportedly on the advice of doctors, the band has since rescheduled the remaining four shows of their North American segment of the tour.

A statement from the band to Rolling Stone said: “Due to sports playoff schedules and existing touring commitments in Europe and Australia, we are looking to move rescheduled cities (Boston, Philadelphia, Toronto, Winnipeg, Edmonton and Calgary) to October/November 2019. Ticketholders will receive new dates and details shortly. Unfortunately the band will not be able to perform at Jazz Fest in New Orleans on May 2.”
