LAS VEGAS (CelebrityAccess) – The Eagles have today (April 2) announced that they will perform their iconic 1976 album, Hotel California, in its entirety in concert for the first time.
The momentous occasion, which coincides with the album’s 43rd anniversary, is scheduled to take place September 27 and 28 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Eagles members Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit will be joined by Deacon Frey (son of founding member Glenn Frey who passed away in 2016) and Vince Gill for what will be the group’s only North American performances of 2019.
Hotel California is the third best-selling U.S. album in history and was recently certified 26-times Platinum by the RIAA. Topping the charts following its original release, it won two Grammy Awards for “New Kid in Town” and “Hotel California.” Several of the songs from the album have never been performed since the original “Hotel California” tour.
Tickets for the shows will go on sale through Ticketmaster on April 12.
