TULSA (CelebrityAccess) – Tulsa’s Gilcrease Museum is set to open a new Bob Dylan exhibit that will feature 12 pastel portraits painted by the iconic musician, according to the Associated Press.

The exhibit will also include handwritten song lyrics, a black leather jacket, an electric guitar, screen tests filmed by Andy Warhol and a number of other items from the Bob Dylan Archives, reports AP.

Commenting on the exhibit, Michael Chaiken, the archive’s curator said: “He’s best known for his music, but Dylan is also a writer of prose, a filmmaker, and someone who has been involved in the visual arts for decades. This show is an opportunity to explore all those different avenues of Dylan’s creativity.”

Bob Dylan: Face Value and Beyond is slated to run from May 10 to Sept. 15.

It is the first major show from the archives since it was acquired by the George Kaiser Family Foundation and the University of Tulsa in 2016.
