BOISE, Idaho (CelebrityAccess) Knitting Factory Entertainment (KFE) has completed renovations to its Knitting Factory concert house in Boise and reopened March 7th with a sold-out performance by Young the Giant.
Future shows at the venue include No Name, In Flames, Atmosphere, Citizen Cope, Vince Staples, Acid King, American Football, Chase Rice and more.
Knitting Factory, one of Boise’s premier concert venues since opening in 2000, was closed by a fire in September 2018. The club immediately began the process to rebuild, whilst Knitting Factory Entertainment—a promoter and talent buyer as well as venue operator, rescheduled and continued to book shows in other local venues while construction was underway.
Local architecture firm erstad Architects added to the design with polished concrete floors, 360-degree reclaimed wood bar, granite bar top and expanded mezzanine footprint for clearer stage viewing.
The rebuilt venue features a state-of-the-art L-Acoustics sound system and new energy-saving LED lighting package providing twice the lighting while consuming 75 percent less power.
“We thank our staff and the Boise community for both their patience and continued support,” said Knitting Factory Entertainment CEO Morgan Margolis. “It’s been a challenging road back, and we’re grateful to resume providing the community with the best in live entertainment year-round. We’re back, and better than ever.”
KFE talent buyer Danny Glazier serves as head booker for the venue, based in the local Boise office.
