LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Actor Luke Perry has reportedly been hospitalized after suffering a stroke in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
According to TMZ, paramedics were called to Perry’s home on Wednesday before he was transported to the hospital after suffering what was described as a “massive” stroke.
Perry’s publicist Arnold Robinson told the Associated Press that the 52-year-old actor was currently under observation but declined to provide additional details. TMZ reported that Perry has been medically sedated while he is treated.
Perry is best known for playing Dylan McKay on the soapy Fox series “Beverly Hills, 90210” but was in Los Angeles to shoot scenes for his current series, Netflix’s “Riverdale”
News of Perry’s health crisis came on the same day that it was announced that Beverly Hills, 90210 was being rebooted. While Perry has not been announced for the series, many of his former co-stars, including Jason Priestley, Jennie Garth, Brian Austin Green, Tori Spelling and Ian Ziering have all signed on.
