NEW YORK, (CelebrityAccess) — Grammy-winning songwriter and recording artist David Crosby, has signed with SESAC for the administration of his copyrights.

Crosby has an extensive catalogue of recorded music both from his work with groups such as The Byrds, where he penned hits like “What’s Happening,” and “Why?” and the various configurations of Crosby Stills & Nash where he wrote hits such as “Guinnevere,” “Almost Cut My Hair,” and “Wooden Ships.”

He was previously represented by BMI.

He’s also released seven albums as a solo artist, including the melancholy If I Could Only Remember My Name in 1971, and Here If You Listen, which he released last year and which features Lighthouse band members and fellow SESAC affiliates Becca Stevens and Michael League.

A new documentary about Crosby debuted earlier this year at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival and garnered critical praise. The film was picked up by Sony Pictures Classic for North American distribution.
