LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — British rock icons Def Leppard are gearing up for an arena tour of Canada following up their induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame later this year.
The tour will kick off at Halifax Scotiabank Centre in Halifax on July 12 and end in Calgary at the Scotiabank Saddledome on July 31.
The band’s newly announced Canadian run follows on the heels of their just-concluded North American arena and stadium run. During the course of the extensive run, Def Leppard sold more than 1,000,000 tickets and the tour grossed over $100,000,000.00, tour organizers reported.
Def Leppard, along with The Cure, Janet Jackson, Stevie Nicks, Radiohead, Roxie Music and The Zombies will all be part of the 2019 class for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Def Leppard and company will be inducted in a ceremony taking place on March 29th at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.
