LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — The 15th annual UK Festival Awards took place in London on Thursday night, with talent agency Coda, promoter Broadwick Live, and the Download Festival taking top honors for 2018.
The event, with more than 700 industry professionals, took place at the Troxy in Limehouse, takes aim at celebrating excellence in the UK festival industry.
Download took home the trophy for best major festival, while best medium-sized fest went to 2000trees and the best small festival award went to Arctangent.
Broadwick Live, the company behind events such as Snowbombing, Field Day, and Standon Calling, took home the prize for best promoter, while Coda Music Agency won the award for best agency.
The award for best metropolitan festival went to Parklife, and AEG’s new All Points East took the trophy for best lineup for 2018.
Sarah Nulty, the late Tramlines festival director who died after a brief illness in July, was honored posthumously with the outstanding contribution to festivals award.
Rapper, comedian, and actor Ben Bailey “Doc Brown” Smith served as the master of ceremonies for this year’s awards gala.
