(CelebrityAccess) — Scottish indie rockers Snow Patrol announced they are hitting the road in North America, with dates starting in April.
The North American leg of Snow Patrol’s Wildness Tour kicks off on April 19th at the South Side Ballroom in Dallas Texas and runs through May before wrapping at The Wiltern in Los Angeles on May 21st.
In addition to their dates in the U.S., Snow Patrol also announced a show on March 20th at the Acropolis Puebla in Puebla, Mexico, and on March 25th at the Armando Music Hall in Bogota, Colombia.
Snow Patrol, consisting of Gary Lightbody (vocals, guitar), Nathan Connolly (guitar, backing vocals), Paul Wilson (bass guitar, backing vocals), Jonny Quinn (drums), and Johnny McDaid (piano, guitar, backing vocals), will be touring in support of their seventh studio album Wildness.
When it debuted in May via Polydor, Wildness proved to be a smash hit with the critics and the fans as well, debuting at #2 on the UK album charts, almost toppling the soundtrack for The Greatest Showman. Singles include “Life on Earth,” “Empress,” and “What If This Is All the Love You Ever Get?”
Tickets for the North American tour go on sale on Nov. 30th with a presale beginning on Nov. 28th. Fans who purchased the album in any format from the band’s official store prior to June 6th will be receive a code to participate in the presale, the band said.
