ARLINGTON, Texas (CelebrityAccess) – Esports Stadium Arlington, the largest gaming and esports events facility in North America, opened its doors this week.
Located in the heart of Arlington’s entertainment district, the $10 million, 100,000 ft2 facility was designed by award-winning architectural firm Populous and brought to life with build partner Shawmut Design and Construction.
A first-of-its-kind facility, Esports Stadium Arlington is equipped with a competition space that features a built-in 85 ft-long LED wall, immersive sound and theatrical lighting systems, a dedicated observer room, caster studio, data center and control room, eight “Team Rooms,” a space for players to strategize and practice, a “Player Lounge“ where players can relax and socialize as well as spaces created specifically for media and staff.
The grand opening is being celebrated with FACEIT’s Esports Championship Series Season 6 Finals, a $750,000 prize pool tournament that kicks off today and runs throughout the weekend.
