LONDON (CelebrityAccess) Organizers have announced the 31st edition of the International Live Music Conference for March 5-8 with this edition’s clever theme magic/Harry Potter.
The “ILMC And The Mystery Of The 31st Level” will take place at the “Royal Garden Hogwart-el – the industry’s very own Ministry of Magic – where more than 1,000 delegates expand their powers and skills over three days” in London and all rooms at the hotel are reserved exclusively for delegates, with special discounted rates available.
This year’s event includes the launch of the Futures Forum, which takes place on the final day, March 8, and is expected to draw more than 300 young professionals to a discussion about the evolution of the live business.
“Futures Forum will bring the individuals that currently define the business together with those who will drive its development,” ILMC head Greg Parmley told its IQ magazine. “It’s an extra day of ILMC, and a chance to embrace new formats and encourage fresh voices and different thinking.”
Next year’s event follows the same midweek format tried last year. The 5,000+ members of ILMC voted to make the midweek format permanent. The ILMC Production Meeting and Green Events & Innovations Conference take place March 5.
“With over 1,800 live music professionals attending an ILMC event during the week, it’s the focal point for the international business,” Parmley said. “We can’t wait to start announcing speakers and sessions shortly.”
