MILWAUKEE (CelebrityAccess) Ed Sheeran’s sold-out show in Miller Park in Milwaukee Wednesday night reportedly included traffic woes that caused many to nearly miss the performance.
Because baseball’s Milwaukee Brewers were in the MLB playoffs, the concert was pushed back one day but the bumper-to-bumper traffic is what caused the most inconvenience to fans, according to KMTV News.
“It should not take me three hours to get from the airport to Miller Park,” one fan tweeted. “This is ridiculous.”
“I left Oconto today at 3:00 p.m. to make sure we’d have plenty of time to get to the park,” another said. “Hit 94 at 5:45 and didn’t get into the show until 9:15 because of that nightmare you called parking.”

“I’m so angry about Miller Park parking right now,” another said. “We couldn’t have even handled a World Series if it was here. Letting one car into the lot at a time is ridiculous.”
“We are aware that there was significant congestion on several major routes as people traveled to Miller Park last night, and the process of moving cars into the lots was slower than anticipated,” Tyler Barnes, vice president of communications for the Brewers, told the Journal Sentinel via email Thursday.
“Our goal is to always provide the best fan experience possible and for many fans last night, we did not deliver,” Barnes said in his statement. “There are several factors related to hosting a concert that are different than a baseball game that created challenges. Regardless, we need to do better and we apologize for the inconvenience.”
The show itself was called a “concert like no other.”
