LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) – The Ryan Seacrest Foundation, a non-profit organization aimed at inspiring youth through entertainment and education initiatives, appointed several new industry advisors from top entertainment companies earlier this week.
New advisors include Big Machine Label Group President, CEO and founder Scott Borchetta, Def Jam Records EVP of promotion Nicki Farag, iHeartMedia President of CHR programming strategy John Ivey, SB Projects President Allison Kaye, WABC-TV President and general manager Debra O’Connell and Gary Spangler, EVP of promotion at Republic Records.
Together with the foundation’s current celebrity ambassadors Sabrina Carpenter, Selena Gomez, Charlie Puth and Nick Jonas, the advisory committee will be tasked with developing entertainment initiatives for children’s hospital patients and their families, spreading awareness of the foundation’s mission and assisting with fundraising efforts.
“Commenting on the new appointments, Meredith Seacrest, Ryan Seacrest Foundation executive director and COO, said in a statement: “We’re honored to have assembled a talented group of industry executives, who have been generously supporting our Foundation for years, to join us officially as advisors to help us advance our efforts and elevate our network of Seacrest Studios.”
