AUSTRALIA (CelebrityAccess) Nick Cummins, the 31-year-old former rugby player who is also a recent bachelor on Downunder version of “The Bachelor,” has canceled several book signings in Australia because of poor attendance, which appears to be a backlash to Cummins’ controversial decision on the finale of the show.
Cummins, known as the “Honey Badger,” refused to pick a bride from all the potential mates on the popular television series, causing viewers worldwide extreme disappointment in the likely producer-manipulated show.
Now he is promoting his book, “The Honey Badger Guide To Life,” but nobody wants to show up. Sydney’s Westfield Warringah Mall announced the cancellation on their Facebook and couldn’t resist the snarky line, “Now we know how the Bachelorettes felt.” A few days later, the Central Coast’s Erina Fair canceled three hours before the signing, according to Australia celebrity mag Honey.
Fans, if that’s the correct term, didn’t pass up a good opportunity.
“With his commitment issues it’s unlikely he will be there anyway and look at the book cover he’s flipping us the bird already,” one person wrote on social media.
“Calling himself a honey badger is an insult to honey badgers. They’re fierce & loyal & will rip you to shreds if you cross them. This guys a wuss,” wrote another.

The book went on sale Thursday, coinciding with the season finale.
