(CelebrityAccess) – Pulse Music Group announced this week that it has promoted Joe Poindexter to Senior Vice President, Digital.
Formerly Vice President, Digital, Poindexter joined Pulse back in 2012. During his tenure, the company’s talent roster has quadrupled and its song catalog has surpassed 150 million units of recorded music sales and more than 10 billion streams.
Commenting on the promotion, Josh Abraham, co-CEO of Pulse Music Group said: “Songwriters want an innovative, digital-native partner that can help them identify and take advantage of new opportunities to share their music with the world.”
Added Scott Cutler, co-CEO of Pulse Music Group: “Joe’s leadership and vision for Pulse’s digital presence has been an important part of our success and we’re thrilled to recognize that with this promotion.”

In his new position, Poindexter will continue to execute the company’s digital strategy as well as lead Pulse Digital, which provides digital strategy, digital execution and DSP representation for several outside clients from across the entertainment industry.
