DEL MAR, Calif. (CelebrityAccess) A man upset he couldn’t get into an Ice Cube show fired a gun tino a crowded area and was shot and wounded by authorities in Del Mar, Calif., Sept. 2.

The incident took palace at the Del Mar Racetrack at the fairgrounds near San Diego. The suspect was upset he couldn’t get into a sold-out show, fired into the crowded area, and was wounded by a sheriff’s deputy, police said. The racetrack tweeted at 7:22 p.m. that the situation had been contained and the concert would proceed as planned.

A video on Twitter showed a man holding a handgun, with two deputies nearby, with a voice shouting “drop it,” followed by the man falling to the ground, according to Fox News.

CBS San Diego affiliate KFMB-TV quotes witnesses that the man fired three times into the air; sheriffs Tased the suspect and then opened fire.
The incident reportedly occurred during the final race of the day.
