CityFolk Announces Expanded MARVEST Lineup In Celebration Of 25th Anniversary

OTTAWA (CelebrityAccess) – CityFolk music festival organizers today (Aug 29) announced an expanded line-up for this year’s edition of MARVEST.

On September 14th and 15th, 70 acts from across the Ottawa-area will now participate in a series of free live performances set to pop up in a variety of non-traditional venues throughout the city.

Also, new this year––as part of CityFolk’s 25th anniversary celebration––will be a series of ticketed concerts. Ticketed events include: Jack Pine and the Fireon September 7 at St. Giles Church, 729 Bank Street ($10);  an acoustic performance by THE TREWSon September 8 at the Fourth Ave. Baptist Church in the Glebe ($25); ‘COUNTRY GEMS’ on Sept. 14 featuring Kelly Prescott, Ball & Chain, and Ali McCormick at St. Giles Church, ($10); and ‘FOLK GEMS’on Sept. 15 with Finest Kind, The Welsh Tornado, James Stephens, MOONFRUITS, Julie Corrigan, and Campbell Woods, also at St. Giles Church ($10).
