AUSTRALIA (CelebrityAccess) – Stereosonic’s founders, Hardware and Onelove, have teamed with Live Nation to launch a brand new traveling event called FestivalX.
Set to kick off Nov. 29 in Auckland, followed by dates in Brisbane (Nov. 30), Sydney (Dec. 1) and Melbourne (Dec. 2), FestivalX is being billed as Australia’s hottest new hip-hop, pop, EDM and electronica summer event.
“We’ve been working on this for while now and the time is right,” explained Hardware chief Richie McNeill. “Fans and the industry want a reliable, value for money musical experience showcasing the faves and new artists.”
“FestivalX is going to showcase the best local and international talent while bringing fans a new festival experience,” added Live Nation Australasia CEO Roger Field. “It’s going to be huge, and it’s going to be the pre-summer party fans have been waiting for.”
Incidentally, FestivalX will run at the same time Stereosonic once did. Stereosonic, which was established in Melbourne in 2007, has not been active since announcing a hiatus back in 2016.
