DENVER (CelebrityAccess) AEG Rocky Mountains chief Chuck Morris recently flashed his first tattoo and CelebrityAccess asked him about it.
“I had to wait till my Jewish mom passed (at 96) before I could do it because she probably would have had a meltdown,” Morris responded by email. “Most of my kids (5) hid them from her.”
But why “Born To Folk”?
“First show I saw was The Kingston Trio when I was 10 in Lake Chautauqua New York and fell in love with folk music,” he said. “I even bought my first instrument which I learned to play which was a four-string tenor guitar like Nick Reynolds of the Kingston Trio. I bought every album they ever did and learned all their songs.
“I’ve always wanted to do this exact tattoo but had to wait for my Jewish mother to pass who would have had a heart attack. She lived till she was 96. Most of my five kids have tattoos and they really pushed me to do it.”
