LOS ANGELES, (CelebrityAccess) — Jay-Z and Beyoncé launched the North American segment of their OTR II tour on Wednesday night when they performed at the at FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland.
The show features some of the most extensive staging in the history of live music, including two catwalks that extend deep into the audience seating area and a floating platform that goes over half the length of the stadium.
The production also includes a performance wall, studded with video screens, 26-person vertical orchestra and 17 dancers.
The Carters just wrapped the European and U.K. leg of their the tour.
Providing support for all of the couple’s North American dates are rapper and producer DJ Khaled, and the American R&B duo Chloe x Halle, who are touring in support of their debut album “The Kids Are Alright” which was released earlier this year.
Also making it’s North American debut on the tour is Club Carter – an interactive VIP club in the front center of the stadium where fans have a close view of the show. Concert-goers who spring for access to the club are guaranteed early entry to the concert and are provided a cash bar with beer, wine, and spirits before the show starts.
