ATLANTIC CITY (CelebrityAccess) — Promoter Live Nation announced the cancellation of several performances by singer Demi Lovato in the wake of her apparent overdose on Tuesday.

AC Beach Concerts and Live Nation announced that Lovato’s performance for the Atlantic City Beachfront Concert series on July 26th was cancelled. In its place, they announced a free concert with the EDM group Cheat Codes, along with Lauv and DJ Chris Devine who would fill in for Lovato.

Cheat Codes is a Los Angeles-based electronic music DJ trio consisting of Trevor Dahl, Kevin Ford, and Matthew Russell. In March 2017, they collaborated with Lovato with the single “No Promises.”

Ticketholders to Lovato’s show will be able to use their ticket to gain entry to the free show, as well as to a concert by the Chainsmokers on Sunday.

Live Nation also announced the cancellation of the RBCxMusic benefit concert for Kids Help Phone, which was to be headlined by Lovato and  Jason Mraz scheduled for Sunday, July 29.

On Tuesday, emergency responders were called to Lovato’s Los Angeles home after she suffered what multiple media reports describe an opiate overdose. According to TMZ, responders administered Narcan, a medicine intended to counteract overdose symptoms to Lovato before transporting her to an area hospital for medical care.

Lovato is scheduled to perform a series of dates in Mexico and then South America, starting on September 20th at the Arena CD De Mexico in Mexico City. As of yet, there has been no word of the tour’s status. Lovato previously rescheduled the tour segment earlier this year, citing “production issues.”
