LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) Jesse Camp, former MTV veejay, has been located after reporting missing.
Riverside, Calif., police tweeted Tuesday that Camp has been located after his sister Marisha Camp reported she had not heard from her brother in more than a week. Police originally suspected that Jesse Camp was transient and living in local hotels.
Police said the last reported sighting of Camp was in Fontana last Monday. A Fontana Police Department representative stopped Camp outside a Sherwin Williams paint store for a “pedestrian check” July 19 before his sister filed a missing persons report. The officer left after being convinced Jesse was OK, according to CBS News. Fontana had been booked in May for alleged possession of methamphetamine.
“Josiah ‘Jesse’ Camp is no longer considered missing,” Riverside Police said. “He was contacted by a local law enforcement agency a short time ago and not in need of any assistance. His family has been notified. No further information will be released.”
Camp was the first winner of MTV’s “Wanna Be A VJ” in 1998. His latest project was a Funny Or Die skit called “Triumph’s Election Special” in 2016.
