WANTAGH, N.Y. (CelebrityAccess) By all accounts, The Pistol Annies – the trio of Miranda Lambert, Angaleena Presley and Ashley Monroe – are back to together with music and performances on the way.
Presley and Monroe joined Lambert onstage when Lambert’s Bandwagon Tour stopped at Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, N.Y., and played their hit “Hell on Heels.”
The group came to an abrupt stop after two albums, and canceled all of its tour dates in support of sophomore album Annie Up in 2013, with all three members citing conflicts with their (many times impressive) solo projects. However, in January, Miranda shared on social media a post that hinted the trio was working together again and in April told The Boot that they were heading back to the studio.
“We’ve been writing and we’ve written some of my favorite songs I’ve ever written in my life,” Lambert told The Boot.
Last month, the trio posted a photo of them in the studio.
