ATLANTA (CelebrityAccess) Offset, one-third of the Georgia hip-hop outfit Migos, has been arrested on felony weapons charges plus misdemeanors.
Offset, born Kiari Cephus and husband to Cardi B, was stopped by the Atlanta Police Airport Division for illegally tinted windows. A search of the vehicle, which a police spokeswoman said was a Porsche 911, found at least one gun, which is a felony because Cephus is a convicted felon on probation. A small amount of marijuana was also found, which is a misdemeanor, as is an improper lane change.
The arrest was originally reported by TMZ and confirmed by jail records, according to Rolling Stone.
In 2015, all three members of Migos were charged after a concert with felony possession of a schedule II narcotic and carrying a loaded gun onto the school property of Georgia Southern University.
Neither Cardi B nor their newborn daughter, Kulture, were reportedly in the vehicle at the time of the arrest.
Migos was scheduled to play Drai’s nightclub in Las Vegas tonight.
