LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) In one of the most bizarre videos to be uploaded to YouTube yesterday, Roseanne Barr once again explains her tweet regarding former President Barack Obama official Valerie Jarrett.
Barr has vowed she would explain her tweet on her own terms rather than taking “untrustworthy” interviews, and she recently spoke about her situation at length with her spiritual guide, Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, on his podcast. There, she speaks rationally about how she made a mistake with the tweet and apologizes for it. This short video, on the other hand, is about 50 seconds of a producer setting up a question by comparing the situation with a president killing a prostitute in the Oval Office and something about multiple jump cuts and costume changes.
Barr, clearly flustered by the unending non sequiter, finally spits out, “I thought the bitch was white!”
Barr, whose top-rated ABC television show “Roseanne” was put on ice, watched as her career tumbled overnight after tweeting that Jarrett looked like a character from Planet of the Apes. She has said repeatedly that she thought Jarrett was of Iranian descent and would not have used the comparison if she knew Jarrett was of African-American descent.
