TORONTO (CelebrityAccess)  Ticketmaster Canada chief operating officer Patti-Anne Tarlton will be inducted into the Canadian Music and Broadcast Industry Hall of Fame on May 10, 2018 as part of the annual awards gala dinner during Canadian Music Week (May 7-13).

Canadian Tarlton, who was featured in Billboard’s Women in Music 2017 list last month, has spent her career as a concert promoter, venue operator and sports & entertainment executive in Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto.

Tarlton’s interest in music began at a very young age when her uncle, Donald Tarlton of DKD Productions in Montreal, came to visit her hometown in Vancouver, and his nieces would accompany him to various music events. Tarlton got her start in operations as a concert promoter in the music industry. Over the next 14 years, she was a concert promoter for Perryscope Concerts, DKD Concerts, and House of Blues Concerts.

Prior to joining Ticketmaster, Tarlton headed up Live Entertainment Division for Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment.  In addition, Tarlton serves as a Board Member of the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS), Ontario Chamber of Commerce (OCC), Music Canada Live, and is an appointed member of the Toronto Music Advisory Council.

“I have admired Patti-Anne throughout the years, seeing her rise through the ranks, and succeeding at every new level she takes on,” said CMW president Neill Dixon in a statement. “She continues to set a high standard in the music industry and is a true inspiration to everyone, especially young females seeking to get into the business.”
