PASCAGOULA, Miss. (CelebrityAccess) – Legal woes are mounting for former 3 Doors Down bassist Todd Harrell after he was accused of violating his probation in the wake of an arrest on gun and drug charges last week.

According to the Biloxi Sun-Herald, a judge on Monday set a bond of $22,500 for Harrell, who was charged with three counts of possessing a firearm after a felony conviction.

Harrell’s latest brush with the law started on Friday after Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies were called to his home in the wake of a domestic dispute. While at his home, deputies reported that they observed both firearms and controlled substances and Harrell was arrested after investigators obtained a search warrant for the residence.

Harrell was arrested on a felony charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and misdemeanor charges of possession of a controlled substance and domestic violence/simple assault.

Harrell’s arrest may result in a return to prison for him due to the terms of his probation after he was convicted of vehicular homicide in the death of 47-year-old Paul Shoulders Jr., whose vehicle Harrell struck while driving under the influence of prescription drugs, the Sun-Herald reported.

Following his 2015 conviction, Harrell was sentenced to two years in prison and six years probation, with a five-year sentence in the event that he violated his probation, according to the Nashville Tennessean.

Harrell was one of the founding members of 3 Doors Down when the group formed in 1996 but was fired in 2013 after being charged in connection with the accident.
