LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — Kevin Brown, Spotify’s head of artist and label services for UK and International, is leaving the company.
According to Music Week, Rob Harvey, global head of artist & label services confirmed Brown’s exit, telling Music Week: “I can confirm that Kevin Brown has decided to leave Spotify after having supported Spotify’s growth over the last five years. We thank him for his contributions and wish him the very best in his future endeavours.”
The London-based Brown joined Spotify in 2013 and has handled the streaming giant’s relationships with major and indie labels across Europe.
Brown is also coming to the end of his two-year term as chairman of the Official Charts Company, Music Week reported.
Before joining the Spotify team, Brown operated 360 Music Marketing, a music marketing consultancy, where he developed campaigns for groups such as Coldplay.
