LONDON (VIP-NEWS) — Chris Rea`s concert in Bournemouth on Tuesday night was canceled after his worrying collapse on stage on December 9.

The Driving Home For Christmas star, 66, was on stage in Oxford when he suddenly collapsed and began shaking on the floor, according to witnesses.

An ambulance was called and Chris was rushed to the hospital, where he was later said to be in a “stable” condition.

And the entertainment pro was set to appear at the Bournemouth International Centre tomorrow night for his scheduled performance.

The Bournemouth gig was set to be the last of a 37-venue tour.

After his collapse, an ambulance spokeswoman confirmed that Mr. Rea was “stable” when he was seen to by paramedics.

The Middlesbrough-born musician was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and had his pancreas removed in 2001, and in 2016 he suffered a stroke.

Rea told BBC Breakfast in August: “I had a stroke exactly this time last year, and I stopped smoking this time last year.”

He said he is still feeling the effects of the stroke, and added: “I`m fine when I`m sitting down, I`ve just got a little bit of balance – it`s a bit dodgy, just in case anyone thinks I`m drunk on-stage.”
