NICE, FR (CelebrityAccess) – Back on July 7th, 2008, Sir Ringo Starr kicked off his inaugural Peace & Love Birthday Celebration out front of Chicago’s Hard Rock Cafe. With friends, family, and fans in attendance, Starr’s call to action was simple: he invited everyone everywhere to say, post, or even think “Peace & Love” at noon local time, in hopes of generating a wave of goodwill that could span the entire planet. Last year’s event saw fans in over 23 countries join the movement.
Today, Starr announced that this year’s 10th annual celebration will take place on July 7th at the Hard Rock Cafe in Nice, France, and will be sponsored by The David Lynch Foundation.
In keeping with the international support the event has seen, Hard Rock Cafe will play a video message from Ringo in restaurants around the world just before Noon, inviting patrons and fans to join Ringo and generate “Peace & Love” (details for which will be listed on Ringo’s Facebook page under “Events” – and listed below – for fans around the world who want to gather).
