LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Hardcore favorites Rise Against announced plans for an extensive tour of North America this summer, kicking off with a headlining billet at ’77 Montréal punk festival on July 27.
Produced by Live Nation, Rise Against’s “Mourning In Amerika” Tour includes shows at Coney Island Amphitheatre in New York City (August 1), a concert with Fall Out Boy at Wrigley Field in the band’s hometown of Chicago (September 8), and an evening at Red Rocks Amphitheatre outside Denver (September 15).
Rise Against is touring to bolster their 2017 hit “Wolves” which debuted atop Billboard’s Alternative, Top Rock and Hard Rock albums charts when it was released last June.
Joining Rise Against on the tour in a supporting role will be the California-based rock outfit AFI, and Pittsburgh-based punk group Anti-Flag.– recently wrapped up a tour of Australia and New Zealand and will embark on a European run in June.
