NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) – Stand Up for Heroes (SUFH), a night of hope, healing, and laughter, returns for its 18th annual celebration on Veterans Day, November 11, at 8:00 pm ET at David Geffen Hall, Lincoln Center. Presented by the Bob Woodruff Foundation and the New York Comedy Festival, this event honors veterans through performances by Jim Gaffigan, Norah Jones, Mark Normand, DJ Questlove, Patti Scialfa, Jerry Seinfeld, Bruce Springsteen, Jon Stewart, and more.
The event will showcase military members’ stories of resilience and service while raising funds for the Bob Woodruff Foundation, which supports veterans, service members, and their families.
SUFH is sponsored by Bread Financial and supported by various organizations, including Craig Newmark Philanthropies, HSBC, and Salesforce. Since its creation in 2007, the event has raised $84 million for veterans’ causes. Previous performances have featured Stephen Colbert, Sheryl Crow, John Mayer, and more.
Bob Woodruff, co-founder of the foundation, shared, “For 17 years, I’ve been impressed to see so many come together to honor the bravery and resilience of our veterans. Our 18th event will be another outstanding tribute to those who served.”
