OWENSBORO, KY (CelebrityAccess) — Oak View Group announced a round of promotions at its managed facilities in Owensboro.
OVG team member Josh Gann has been elevated to the role of Director of Sales and Sponsorships for the Owensboro Convention Center and Owensboro Sportscenter.
A veteran salesman with 2 decades of experience, Gann has led the sales team in Owensboro for OVG since 2021, securing a record 19 conventions for the convention center and playing a key role in the generation of $140,000 in profits in 2023.
Kaitlyn Alvey, also part of the the venue’s sales team, has been named Sales Manager at the Owensboro Convention Center. Alvey joined Owensboro Convention Center in 2021 and will now focus on corporate and event bookings.

Additionally, OVG announced the promotion of Shelby Christensen to the role of Marketing and Sales Manager, focusing on RiverPark Center.
Christensen joined the Owensboro Convention Center in 2022 and facilitated the launch of the facility’s presence on Tiktok.

She joined the Owensboro Convention Center in 2022 and played a pivotal role in launching the venue’s TikTok presence. “From my very first day with Oak View Group, I’ve eagerly anticipated growing within the company. I’m excited to share that this moment has arrived as I transition to a new department and new buildings!” stated Shelby.
